How awesome! Ducks from the neighboring (and far richer) subdivision are descending on my driveway! This isn’t the first time they’ve altered their migratory pattern – though what they want in our decidedly less swank street, I have no idea.

We went hiking up Mountain’s Edge, which was perfect for me and my slowly un-smooshing foot. It’s been a month since my motorcycle fell on my foot DURING THE TEST DRIVE and I’m still having some issues walking normally. And yes, I still bought the thing. Yay for mid-life crises!

It’s been such a year! I can’t begin to express my gratitude for all the awesome things that happened this year. And then some not so good things, too. All in all, a year. And even if I HAD an atavachron, I don’t think I’d go back and change anything.
Well, it’s not really Trek-related … but after my friend and I went to the .38 Special concert at Mandalay Beach, we snagged after-party passes for the I Heart Radio concert. Lady Gaga and Jay-Z were rumored to be there, but not really being a fan of either, it was mainly just fun to hang out and see the whole nightclub scene. And then THIS guy showed up!
